The New Forest Model Railway Society meets on Tuesday evenings for modelling sessions in Brockenhurst Village Hall. We welcome anyone who may be interested in joining to comealong and see what we do or even come along as a visitor and chat to our members. If you do visit please make yourself know to our club secretary.

In November we held our annual Open Day which was a great success with many layouts on display and lots of visitors. If you came along we hope you enjoyed your day.

We are now looking forward to our two day exhibition at the end of May. Once again there will be many layouts both from the NFMRS and visiting exhibitors with the usual trade stands refreshments available. We will add more information as it becomes available.

The New Forest Railway Society was started in 1975 and has around 40 active members. We meet Tuesday evenings at Brockenhurst Village Hall and each year we stage two exhibitions. At the end of May a two day exhibition consists of layouts from many other clubs and individuals and at the end of November the club has its own open day where members layouts and layouts worked on during the year are exhibited. See our diary page for details of exhibition dates and meeting times.

Our membership includes people of all ages and we model mostly in N, OO and O gauges. During club nights we are constructing new layouts as well as repairing, maintaining and updating existing layouts as well as having a good chat. If you are interested in joining, or just want to see what we do, then please pay us a visit - we are very friendly, informal and welcoming.

It doesn't matter whether or not you have any particular modelling or engineering skills, the only requirement is that you are interested in model railways. Please visit the other pages of this website to see our layouts.
